Facility Staff Relief
For over thirty years Durham Region Facilities have called DHS Health Care Service to assist them with their short term staffing needs. DHS provides certified staff that have completed Police Clearance Checks, Fit for Work requirements including TB Status, CPR and First Aid Certification and Annual WHMIS testing. DHS staff are also supervised in their work settings and complete workplace evaluations. A Registered Nurse Manager is available to assist them 24 hours per day as needed. DHS is able to provide facilities and agencies with a service agreement including WSIB and Insurance Certificates. Some of the areas DHS has provided staff relief for include:
