Flu Clinics
DHS Health Care Service provides Flu Clinics to small and large businesses in Durham Region. DHS is the most affordable flu clinic provider in Durham Region. We do not charge a minimum cost or a rate per person; rather we charge an hourly rate for the nursing services and supply cost (needles, sharps, etc). The Flu Vaccine itself is free and provided by the Durham Region Health Department. We are also able to provide one-hour clinics for small businesses, or many hours of clinics for large businesses. Some businesses such as a community health agency or pharmacy can actually apply to be reimbursed for the number of immunizations given at their flu clinic.
